Hey there! Welcome to the first Immutable Image blog post (and newsletter). We just started on Substack and we will do a lot more of these in the days ahead.
As many of you know, Immutable Image has been building up our Solana NFT- focused platform and network for the past few months to bring the world’s best photography to the NFT ecosystem. Every image we put out is direct from the artists (or occasionally the rights holder, like estates) and we work hard behind the scenes to curate unique mints for our new collector class. The images will be worthy of becoming immutable!
We are living up to that last sentence, as this week we’ve partnered with the leading marketplace Magic Eden for Solana NFTs to bring the community something very special.

Walter Iooss, Jr.: Greg Louganis, CA 1983
In 1982 Fujifilm hired world-renowned sports photographer Walter Iooss, Jr., to document American athletes’ training for the 1984 Olympic games using Fuji's first-ever film, Fujichrome. This was a premiere photo from his Shooting For The Gold series that came out of that.
